Our Trip to Waterton National Park

We went to Yellowstone National Park in the winter of 1990. We stopped at the town of Nanton to put some gaz. There was a Lancaster Bomber int the middle of town. On our way we stopped at a provincial park and eventually we went to Waterton National Park. In Watertom we found a deserted road and we slept in a tent. It was really cold probably -20 celsius. We did not set our tent properly because the ground was frozen and the pegs did not hold the tent. We had a generator that gave some heat but the wind and cold came through the cracks. This was my first experience winter camping. That region of southern Alberta is very windy. The next day we went to a restaurant one of the few things open during the winter in the village. We went to the direction of Carway, Alberta/Peigan, Montana, the small border crossing between both countries. Later on we followed to Yellowstone National Park. Part 2 - Yellowstone National Park
